NC State University is evaluating the Corbett Farm
ReCip® system. The evaluation includes documenting
the nutrient reduction and the economics (fixed and
operational costs).
Nutrient samples are taken at each of the key locations
before, during, and after treatment. Weekly samples
began in December 2002 and will continue until the evaluation
is over or up to 12 months, which ever occurs first.
This site will post those nutrient reductions as they
become available and authorized for public distribution.
NC State will also conduct an economic analysis of the
system including fixed and operational costs. We anticipate
this analysis will begin the first quarter of 2003 and
its results will be publish as they become available.
